New Billing Practices
Washington Broadband, Inc. is a pre-pay Internet company. This means when you pay your bill you are paying for the next month of service.
We have allowed for a 30 day delinquency prior to shut-off but are now finding that some feel they can just pay 30 days late
We recently added a $2 late fee if a past due bill has to be made. We also added a $5 past due shut off fee for any customer that goes beyond 30 days past due. We will attempt to continue no increases in Internet costs as we have since 2001 with your on-time payments.
On September 1st we will be implementing a new $1 charge for mailing monthly invoices to our residential customers. Postage has risen as well as other costs of mailing invoices. The obvious answer is that we are an Internet company. Email invoices are already available to be sent. Please call us at 853-0858 or email us at support@wabroadband.com and sign up for no-charge email billing TODAY!
We are sending this in our September Newsletter that is being sent to all billing customers, not credit card renewals as they are not affected.
Thanks,
Forbes Mercy
President - Washington Broadband, Inc.
